Woodland has endless options available when customizing their build-to-order furniture. A single piece of furniture can have up to 4 million different potential configurations. Woodland could build anything their customers wanted but was becoming embarrassed about how difficult it was to price a piece of furniture by hand. This was leading to multiple calls with customers to clarify orders and Woodland needed to put some standards in place. ThoughtLab worked with Woodland to help define standards and build a system that would allow them to control what could and could not be done for any piece of furniture. This system was then extended to allow sales reps and customers to register and then order online.
